  • DO I NEED TO BE HOME?
No, we understand that you people are busy like us. If you are not able to be there for your scheduled visit, your technician will inform you on how to handle the situation. You will always receive a full work order of any work performed at your house, whether you are present or not.
  • HOW LONG DOES TREATMENT LAST?
Mouse control is an ongoing process, depending on the severity of the infestation and whether they are in your home or around your commercial property. We may come quarterly, monthly, or even weekly. There are a variety of treatment methods for mice, ranging from blocking their access to your home (exclusion), to snap traps or rodent bait. Some situations require external devices, others do not. Your technician will discuss their treatment and frequency recommendation with you when they come for service. For residential homes, on average, it take about 3 weeks to get them out and keep them out.
  • IS TREATMENT SAFE FOR PETS AND FAMILY?
Interior: Yes, any materials used indoors will be approved by the EPA for use inside of homes or commercial properties. They will be housed in tamper-proof equipment to protect your family, customers, and even fur babies. Exterior: Yes, any materials used outdoors will be approved by the EPA for use around the exterior of homes or commercial properties. They will be housed in tamper-proof equipment to protect your family, customers, and even fur babies.
  • HOW LONG DOES THE SERVICE TAKE?
The initial inspection will take no longer than an hour and a half for an average job. Multi-Unit properties may take longer. The length and frequency of follow-up treatments will depend on the severity of your issue and the size of the treatment area. 30-minutes is average.
  • HOW SOON CAN YOU GET HERE?
Our goal is to help you in the shortest time possible. We make every effort to be there the same or next day.
  • WHY DO I HAVE MICE?
Mice and other rodents are experts when it comes to searching for and finding water, food sources and warmth. While many falsely believe that only “dirty” places have rodent problems, even the cleanest of humans can have issues. The problem has more to do with the exterior of a dwelling and whether there are openings that allow rodents to enter than it does with cleanliness. That’s not to say that leaving food and garbage out isn’t a contributing factor to a rodent issue. Where the absence of food and garbage doesn’t necessarily mean rodents won’t come, leaving food and garbage out will encourage them. Mice and rats can scale buildings, jump, and squeeze through openings that are much smaller than them, so it’s pretty easy for them to quickly infest a home. (Mice = 1/4 Hole, Rats = 1/2 Hole) A TitleTown Lawn & Pest Pros pest technician will help you identify and treat the areas on the outside of your building that may be giving these pests access to your home.
  • HOW DO I GET RID OF MICE?
The key to “getting rid” of mice comes in two parts. You need to eliminate the mice that are in your home already so they don’t multiply, but you also must find out how they made their way inside in the first place and prevent it from happening again. As you could have guessed, preventing access to your home comes down to what measures you are taking on the outside of your home. Common entry points are through gaps in doors and window frames, where pipes and cables enter your home, and even through vents. Our pest technicians will not only help eliminate your current mouse or rodent problem, but they will also help to prevent them from coming back in the future.
